1️⃣ "AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching" Funding Programme
EDB Circular No. 221/2025 (EDBCM25221E) — December 16, 2025
Key Facts

| Eligibility | All public sector schools (incl. special schools) and DSS schools |
| Period | 2025/26 to 2027/28 (until Aug 31, 2028) |

5 School Requirements
- Incorporate "AI-empowered education" into school development plan
- Implement AI-assisted teaching in at least 3 subjects (2 levels each), develop 6+ AI teaching resources
- Conduct 3 open lessons/demonstrations using AI
- Hold 3 experience-sharing sessions
- Organize 2 student activities to enhance AI literacy

2️⃣ "AI for Science" Pilot Programme

Requirements
- Develop 2 AI teaching examples for Science (S1-S3)
- Conduct 1 open lesson/demonstration

3️⃣ Steering Committee on Digital Education (SCSDDE)
The $2 billion QEF allocation aims to advance digital education. SCSDDE is chaired by Under Secretary for Education Dr Sze Chun-fai.
